SCSC works primarily across Somerset West, Stellenbosch, Strand, Gordon's Bay, Franschhoek and Cape Town. Local travel in Somerset West and Stellenbosch is included in standard family-session pricing, while some areas may carry a fixed travel fee.

SCSC offers family and lifestyle photography, maternity and newborn lifestyle sessions, kids' celebrations, sports and school events, Winelands and tourism experiences, personal branding, and commercial content for local businesses.

The standard SCSC Family Story session is R1,495. The launch-only Founding Five offer is R1,295 for the first five qualifying family bookings.

A standard family session is about 60 minutes and usually includes 30–40 professionally edited photographs delivered through a private online gallery.

That is completely fine. SCSC is built around natural interaction rather than forcing children into stiff poses. Sonia uses movement, games, prompts and breaks to keep sessions relaxed and capture genuine expressions.

You do not need to know how to pose. Sonia guides you gently when needed and focuses on interaction, movement and connection so the session feels more like spending time together than performing for a camera.

Choose outfits that feel comfortable and coordinated without matching exactly. Soft neutrals, earthy tones and simple textures photograph beautifully in the Winelands. Avoid large logos, very busy patterns and clothing that you do not feel like yourself in.

If rain, strong wind or unsafe conditions are likely to affect the quality of the session, SCSC will work with you to reschedule or adjust the location. The goal is to protect both the experience and the final photographs.

Yes. Newborn sessions are lifestyle-based and usually take place at the client's home. The focus is on baby details, parents, siblings, the nursery and natural family connection rather than highly posed studio setups.

Yes. Maternity sessions can take place outdoors at golden hour or at home and are photographed in the same warm, natural style as the rest of the SCSC portfolio.

Yes. Kids' celebration coverage starts from R1,495 for up to 2 hours and includes a curated gallery of the people, details, games, cake, candid moments and key parts of the celebration.

Yes. SCSC covers sports days, matches, tournaments, school events, clubs and community events, with options for short coverage, half-day and full-day bookings.

Yes. For selected sports and school events, individual digital images or image packs can be offered to parents and participants after the event.

Yes. SCSC offers Winelands experience photography for couples, families and travellers, as well as photography for tour operators, wine estates and tourism businesses.

Yes. Personal branding sessions are designed for entrepreneurs, consultants, creators and professionals who need modern portraits and lifestyle business imagery for LinkedIn, websites and social media.

Yes. Business content sessions can include people, premises, products, hospitality, tourism and brand lifestyle imagery. SCSC also offers recurring monthly content packages for businesses that need fresh imagery regularly.

For standard business content sessions, usage for the client's own website, social media and marketing channels is included. Larger campaigns, paid advertising or third-party usage may need separate licensing depending on scope.

Standard galleries are delivered within 5–7 working days. Larger events or commercial assignments may have a different delivery schedule depending on the scope.

Clients receive a private online gallery with high-resolution downloads and a social-media-ready selection for easy sharing.

Bookings start on WhatsApp. Send Sonia your preferred date, the type of session, the approximate number of people and your preferred location. A 30% EFT deposit secures the booking.

The remaining balance is due according to the booking confirmation sent before the session. SCSC will clearly confirm the payment schedule before your booking is finalised.

Please contact SCSC as early as possible. Rescheduling and cancellation terms are confirmed at booking, and weather-related changes are handled separately where conditions affect the session.

No. Venue entrance fees, permits, wine-estate access fees and other special-location costs are charged separately to the client where applicable.

Somerset West, Stellenbosch, Strand and Gordon's Bay are generally treated as the local service area. Franschhoek, Cape Town and other destinations may carry a fixed travel fee depending on the booking.
